I now brush on Magic Color liquid acrylic (Quasar Black) to start filling in some of the etched lines. Now I have dropped scarlet Dr. Phil Martin's liquid acrylic in the carved out portions of the lower horizontal shape. Added orange, now bright yellow. Adding a second coat of black, orange, red and yellow. Filled in the zig-zag pattern in two of the rings by laying layers of several different colors, using liquid acrylic and soft pencil. Softened the yellow in the remaining pattern by adding a brown wash. Etched outlines of the zig-zag pattern in the rings. Time to step back and take a look, but at this point I believe I am finished. |
