Photograph printed on canvas, the starting point.

Coated with Daler-Rowney FW "Process Yellow" acrylic artists ink.

Caran D'Ache "Neocolor II" water-soluble wax pastels worked into the canvas with soft cloth and water.

Color fine-tuned with Stabilo "Woody" multi-talented pencils.

Here begins the etching process.  I have laid down the basic shapes.  I am unsure what will happen next.

I have carved the basic skeleton into the canvas using #11 Xacto blade.  This is the start of the etching process.
